South America. Well, technically, Latin America, because we played Mexico as well? This was a first. I hope it’s not a last. Our travel schedule was a little bit nutty, but it made for some great images. Basically every date was a fly day. I flew out of San Diego and met up with the band in Dallas where we all flew together, band and crew, to our first show in Guadalajara. I have been to South America twice before. Once with a girl, I was dating in high school and her family (she was from Ecuador). I honestly, barely remember the trip. It was at a point in my life where I wasn’t very fun to hang out with. A year or two ago I also went to Peru on vacation.
Safe to say, I was excited to be back. South America is great for photographs because it looks so different than any other place we tour. Another thing that sets it apart is the people. The fans that come to the show are the most excited I have ever seen people in my whole life. They truly love music. It didn’t matter if we were at our hotel, the venue, or the airport; there were fans everywhere.
