Well, I have some random photos I shot and not a blog in mind for them to exist in. So I guess this would be called a “photo dump”, only it’s not very dirty.
I was able to shoot the first three songs for Paramore in Orlando. I have been trying to work for them for a few months now… so I always think of these quick jobs as “job interviews” of sorts. I am never really shooting for a publication in these scenarios, always for a band, manager, or just because I like the band. For Paramore, it was for their management.
I wish I had more time to shoot! I am so spoiled and picky- I can never get all the images I want in three songs or about twelve minutes. Maybe in the future, they will allow me a whole set.

The 1975 is a band we played a radio festival with in Florida, I really liked them so I decided to find time in my day and photograph them.
The nice thing about working for A Day To Remember is that they really support me and my photographic endeavors- meaning they love that I am there and work for them, but they also understand I need to grow as a photographer and let me shoot other artists as long as it doesn’t interfere with our schedule. The 1975 was very… Euro, cig and mic swing combo. This is an example of a band I just shot for fun.

Prior to the same festival that I shot the 1975 at, I reached out to Twenty One Pilots. Mostly because so many people on twitter/ tumblr told me to check them out, and I did. I was impressed. I emailed their manager and tweeted their light guy. They were very warm and welcoming to me. Within a day their manager, tour manager, and lighting guy had responded and granted me access to shoot their whole set from stage and anywhere I would like.
I didn’t get all the shots I wanted of them, I still did get a good amount that I am happy with. I am hoping to photograph them again in more of a venue setting, not at a festival. Half the trouble with shooting these events is cutting out all the advertisements and ugly things in the surroundings. Such as the Jager sponsored stage.
