After shooting the first half of the Collide With The Sky Tour tour I had no plans of going back out, I wanted to, but nothing had been scheduled. However soon after flying home I got a call from Michele, Pierce The Veil’s manager, saying the guys wanted me back out with them. Done deal. I had snapped some of the best images I had ever taken the first time around and I was down to take another shot at it. I had to go home and take care of a few shoots, but as soon as I was done I hopped on a plane to the East Coast. I flew out around the same time Hurricane Sandy hit, so my first three flights were cancelled. I was eventually rebooked and ended up in Philly. I think I was one of 8 flights that flew in that day.
Pierce The Veil had a video guy out with them so I rode with Tonight Alive for a few days, while still working for Pierce The Veil. I really love the Tonight Alive guys, such good people- I think all Australians I meet rule. I was more than happy to ride along with them. I stayed on the tour for a good ten days and then hopped off in Chicago for a quick vacation to Peru. It was awesome. Twelve hours after setting foot on US soil I was at the venue shooting again.
