I managed to slice some free time out of my day while meandering around Europe with A Day To Remeber. We shared a total of three festivals with Slipknot headlining them. One show we had to leave early – then at Copenhell Festival in Copenhagen, I had 30 minutes to dig up some images of them. A few days later we played Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium with them and I took a 2nd try at photographing them. It proved to be less successful 2nd time around, however, the first time around the shooting conditions were more favorable to my desired style or maybe we could blame my tour-sick soul for not being able to stomach flames and lung vibrating drums at 1:00 am. Regardless of the circumstances here are the images I made out with. I am happy with them for the first time photographing an artist. Let me do it again sometime Slipknot?
