Jeff Kaplan, my friend. I am dreading the next tour with ADTR. I love everyone, but going through the motions without you is just going to be a constant reminder that you are no longer with us. The music you play during soundcheck, the smartass comments you make under your breath, and your loud ass laugh creeping around late at night – going to miss it all. I wasn’t even as close to you as the rest of the guys, but I have never lost someone so close to me either. It was a good 4 years with you on the road, thanks for the laughs. Thanks for the great sounding shows. Thanks for being a good man.
That’s all I got for words, but I do have a few photos of Jeff I would like to share from around the world. Always up early, or maybe he just didn’t make it to sleep – I was never quite sure. Going to miss finding him sleeping between soundcheck and showtime somewhere in the venue.
